What DraftLark processes

The public local editor keeps its recovery copy in your browser. When you sign in, DraftLark stores your profile, source text, editable formats, version history, and usage totals in Firebase.

Audio transcription

Uploaded audio is sent transiently to the configured Gemini service for transcription. DraftLark does not save the audio file after the request. The returned transcript is only saved when you choose to generate or save a cloud project.

AI generation

Source text and generation controls are sent to OpenAI GPT-5.6 Luna through Vercel AI Gateway. DraftLark asks the model to stay within your source and records the resulting editable version with a source fingerprint. Review every draft before publishing it.

Service providers

Firebase supplies authentication and private storage, Vercel hosts the application and AI Gateway, Upstash coordinates rate limits, Resend handles support email, and Sentry receives JavaScript error reports without replay or performance tracing.

Your controls

You can export all current projects and version history, delete individual projects, or permanently delete your cloud data and DraftLark account from the Account view.
